Is this you

This is for the woman who's built something real. The director title. The business that finally has traction. The Google Calendar color-coded within an inch of its life.

It's also for the woman who looks up some Tuesday and realizes the years are moving faster than her dreams are.

Who has a travel fund she keeps meaning to define. Who is thriving in the boxes everyone can see, and quietly wondering about the ones nobody asks about.

If you've been craving a table of women who get it, without having to explain the whole backstory first, this one's for you.

The Concept

A flourishing life looks different on everyone.

Five women walking arm in arm, laughing together

For Katie…

Founder, Cultured Concierge

…a flourishing life is one she built for herself. Eight years in five-star hospitality taught her how to create wonder for everyone else, and burned her out doing it. So she left and made something of her own. Now flourishing looks like prioritizing adventure over someday, practicing gratitude daily (yes, she's the journal type), and doing the work instead of waiting to feel ready. The trip gets booked now. The business gets launched before it's perfect. The life gets built while it's still a little scary. That's the version of flourishing she's bringing to this table.

For Tracy…

CEO & Founder, Building Thinkers

…flourishing is being centered, like a tree planted by the river. Whatever comes in the droughts and storms of life, flourishing is resilience: emotionally agile, relationally connected with depth, physically strong, mentally clear, spiritually rooted, financially free, and making an impact through meaningful work and community.

This retreat is where those two visions meet — and where you get to define your own.

How we built it

The retreat we wanted to go on didn't exist. So we wrote the recipe ourselves.

A perfect balance of connection and reflection, playful exploration and focused growth: researched strategies alongside honest this-worked-for-me-last-week wisdom. And most importantly: margin. Space to follow whatever you most need in this season of life.

What you'll explore

A flourishing life has more than one dial.

Perfect balance is a myth. Real lives are beautiful, messy, and always in motion. So over these four days you'll take an honest look at each area of yours, hold it at arm's length, and consider what flourishing there could look like next.

Discover

Take an honest look

Guided reflection across the domains of your life, with zero judgment and zero scoreboards. You leave this part clear about where things stand and what wants your attention.

Design

Build your plan

Guided, group, and independent reflection give you the space and support to focus on what matters most to you. We provide the container and the experiences. You build your own action plan for flourishing, whatever that means to you.

Declare

Say it out loud

Share your vision, your plans, and your ahas with a pop-up community of women building flourishing lives of their own. Plans feel real once you say them out loud.

The Place

Why San Miguel de Allende

There's a reason San Miguel de Allende keeps popping up on travel lists. Its charm, its history, its preservation and its people all make the city one of our favorites in the world. Cobblestone streets wind past jewel-toned facades and hidden courtyards. The Parroquia rises pink and improbable over the skyline, especially at golden hour from a rooftop table. A UNESCO World Heritage city built for slow mornings, long dinners, and wandering without an agenda.

We've brought women here before, and every single time, the city does something to people. Maybe it's the art, the color, the food. Maybe it's just permission to slow down somewhere this beautiful. Either way, San Miguel isn't a backdrop for this retreat. It's part of the point.

Activities & Experiences

The shape of every full day.

MorningOne working session
AfternoonOne San Miguel experience
In betweenFree time, protected
EveningA long dinner together

Rooftop dinners with the Parroquia lit up below you — some conversations just hit different with that view.

Nightly

A private city tour, so you understand the history behind every colorful wall and courtyard you pass.

Guided

A hands-on cooking class, because nothing builds camaraderie like a shared kitchen and a glass of wine.

Hands-on

And a few more we're saving for the retreat itself: mindful, physical, and a little bit surprising.

Shhh

This trip is built with the busy woman in mind. Everything is taken care of and everything is included. You just need to show up (and book your flights, but we'll help with that too).

That's on purpose.

What you'll leave with

You won't take notes to "implement later."
You'll do the work while you're there.

Time to think, write, and plan is built in. You go home with more than inspiration:

A vision board for 2027

Built by hand, not just imagined.

$

Your money stories, unpacked

The beliefs running your money decisions, named and examined, so you choose which ones stay.

Your own action plan for flourishing

Not our template. Yours: concrete next steps for the domains you chose to work on.

A completed reflection journal

Worksheets and all; the work doesn't disappear when the weekend ends.

A repeatable way to get unstuck

A structure and skill set for taking stock of your life domains and designing your way forward, now and whenever you need it again.

A group of women who get it

No backstory required, and still checking in on you long after you're home.

Katie spent eight years in five-star hospitality with Shangri-La Hotel Group (Qingdao, the Maldives, Abu Dhabi), learning what it actually takes to make someone feel taken care of. That experience became Cultured Concierge, her luxury travel advisory, and The Adventurous Women's Travel Club, small-group travel for women who want more than a checklist vacation.

She's visited over 30 countries and believes the best trips (and the best lives) are the ones with room left for wonder. What's included

Every detail handled, so there's room for wonder.

A luxury hotel stay

In the heart of San Miguel de Allende. Daily breakfast at the hotel, nightly dinners thoughtfully hosted, rooftop views included.

Curated experiences

Mindful, physical, culinary… and one surprise we're not telling you about. ;)

Retreat journal

Worksheets, wheel of life, daily reflection, and gratitude prompts. Unlike some retreats we've been to, you don't have to do the work when you get home; the time to do it is built in, so you go home with a fresh perspective. The other women are your sounding board, your cheerleaders, and your accountability partners six months down the road.

Space that's actually yours

Small and full group discussion time, and zero pressure to structure your downtime.

The only thing not included? Your flight.

Fly into Querétaro International (QRO), about an hour from San Miguel, and we'll handle the rest from there. And if booking flights isn't your favorite part of travel, remember who's hosting: Cultured Concierge is a luxury travel advisory, and we're happy to help you book.

Questions, answered

Everything you're wondering.

How much is it?

$4,800, all-inclusive, with your own private room. Invite a friend, and when she books you each save $500. The only things not included are your flights and travel insurance.

What's included in the price?

Almost everything: four nights, all meals including hosted dinners every night, every session and workshop, the city tour, the cooking class, all activities and experiences (including a few we're keeping secret), your retreat journal, welcome gifts, airport transfers, and one keepsake we won't explain yet.

The only things not included are your flights, travel insurance, and anything you buy at the artisan market (we take no responsibility for what happens to you at the artisan market).

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. A deposit of $1000 holds your spot, and the balance can be split into payments through December. The deposit is applied to your total, not added on top.

Do I have to share a room?

You won't: every woman gets her own private room, included in the price. Traveling with a friend? Even better: when she books, you each save $500.

I'd be coming alone. Is that weird?

It's the opposite of weird. Most women come solo, and honestly, they tend to have the best experience because every friendship is brand new. By dinner on night one, "alone" will not be a word that applies to you.

I'm an introvert. Will this exhaust me?

We built this retreat for both kinds of energy. Every day has protected free time with zero social obligation, quiet journaling is part of the actual programming, and nobody keeps attendance at optional gatherings. Recharge in your room, at the pool, or on a walk. You will not be voluntold to share feelings before you're ready.

How fit do I need to be?

If you can walk on cobblestones and handle a few gentle hills, you're set. San Miguel de Allende sits at 6,200 feet, so we've paced the first day gently and we'll nag you lovingly about water. If you have mobility considerations, tell us in the questionnaire and we'll plan around them quietly, no fuss.

Which airport do I fly into?

Querétaro (QRO) is closest, about 50 minutes away. Group transfers from the airport are included, and we'll coordinate timing once you share your flights.

Do I need a passport?

Yes and yes. Your passport should be valid for at least six months past the travel dates (check it today, future you says thank you).

Is San Miguel de Allende safe?

It's one of the most visited, expat-friendly cities in Mexico, named Travel + Leisure's #1 City in the World, and Katie has brought groups of women here before. We move together for evening activities, transfers are private, and you'll have our numbers the whole time. Come with the same street smarts you'd bring to any city, and expect to feel very taken care of.

What's the weather like?

Some of the best of the year: sunny days around 75, crisp evenings in the 50s. Pack layers, comfortable flats, and one outfit that makes you feel fantastic. A full packing list arrives before the trip.

Can I actually unplug, or will I need to work?

The hotel has fast wifi, and we've built in free time where nobody will judge a laptop. But we designed this retreat so that four days away doesn't wreck your fifth.

Is this a religious or spiritual retreat?

The sessions are grounded in research on happiness, learning, and behavior change (with a reading list to prove it). But there's plenty of margin in these four days, and what fills it is up to you: for some women that's a run or a nap, for others it's prayer or quiet reflection. All of it counts as flourishing here.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Tell us in the questionnaire and consider it handled, at every dinner, at the cooking class, everywhere. Allergies, preferences, and "not a cilantro girl" are all taken equally seriously.

What's your cancellation policy?

Your deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another woman you nominate.

I have a question you didn't answer.

Ready to join us

Fifteen women. Four days.
A life you don't have to escape from.

Spots are limited to 15 women, because this only works if it stays intimate. Q1 2027. San Miguel de Allende. A group of women ready to stop pushing their dreams to next year. This is the retreat we wanted to go on ourselves. Now we're building it, and we'd love for you to be one of the fifteen.

$4,800, all-inclusive, with your own private room.

Invite a friend, and when she books you each save $500.

Tell me more!

Questions before you commit? Reach out and we'll walk you through everything, from what's included to who else is coming.

P.S.

Most of us aren't short on time so much as we're short on room — room to think, to breathe, to hear our own voice over everyone else's needs.

And most of us are waiting for that room to appear on its own, once things finally calm down. They won't. Spaciousness isn't something that arrives. It's something you build, deliberately, usually by putting something else down first.

Building A Flourishing Life is four days built entirely around that idea. No one needs anything from you here. Just slow mornings, real conversation, and room enough to remember what you actually want.

Carving out the time to prioritize yourself can be profoundly challenging, yet the positive ripple effect it creates across every other area of your life is truly invaluable.
